General information
The main reason why the department organizes the conference is to get to know members of the Department of Ecology and especially the doctoral students. First-year Ph.D. students are asked to give 15 min presentation (+ discussion) to present the methodology of their dissertation. IGA 2020 applicants will be given the opportunity to present their project proposals and receive feedback before submitting the projects for evaluation, the presentation for IGA applicants is highly recommended.
The focus of the conference lays on discussion, which is very beneficial for the elimination of possible methodological errors in the experiments of your future dissertation and for successful project solving. Upon request, other Ph.D. students can present their dissertation and thus discover and eliminate any shortcomings.
The "registration fee" covering accommodation and refreshments will be collected upon arrival, only payments in cash are possible.
It is required to have all texts in English (abstract + text in the lecture), the presentation itself can be in Czech
